Recent events have slowed down and the rhetoric has cooled. But I still remain allegiant to `bookdiva and °jark and their cause. I think what happened is unfair and my conscience will not permit me to continue on and submit my artwork as if nothing happened. For now...the delay of submissions will continue until something comes up. If the situation worsens...I'm seriously considering withdrawing from dA and removing my art. That's a last resort. I have made wonderful friends and grown artistically as a result of °matteo and °jark's creation and I have benefitted firsthand from the wonderful sense of community most people exhibit on this site. But I don't think I could continue on forever if things do not change and answers are still not made apparent. The majority of jark's battle is being fought in the courtrooms but as deviants...it is our responsibility to at least become informed about the recent turn of events. Knowledge is power.

Though I am only one person...I will not refuse to do what I am able to do. And I do support jark and I am waiting to see what happens before I take drastic action. I am aware that every day corporate takeovers occur...and lives are lost in brutal wars...horrible famines, floods, droughts, pestilences. I can do very little to stem this flow of tragedy but I try my best to do what I am able with what information and resources I have. I don't know any more to the story than most of the people on dA...and certainly not more than the people intimately involved in this matter...but I feel that jark's cause in the dA community is a worthy one. If dA is a microcosm of society, especially business rivalry...how devious are we being if we just sit back and let things happen? It is best for each person to choose their own battles...and choose wisely. I do not mean to influence anyone who reads my journal towards anything their heart does not tell them to listen to. I hope I will have presented something of interest and something to think about today.

-Putting politics aside...I am flying to another city this weekend and I will be without internet for anywhere from a day minimum to a week maximum. I'm not too sure. If I do get comments on this journal or anything else...I'll respond to those as soon as possible. I am open to all reasonable suggestions and I entertain most anything worth being discussed. What are YOUR opinions on this matter? I don't think we can afford to be apathetic...so I would appreciate it if everyone who read this journal in its entirety would comment or respond with a well-thought remark.
