Star-making Origami video by Jingmamalulu Star-making Origami video by Jingmamalulu
This video was made for some of the people who wanted to learn how to fold stars. Though I did it rather fast, you can see the process of folding a star in this video, I'll upload another one of a higher quality if this one works...I'll also load individual step-by-step photos in the next upload.

Just click Download to Desktop to view! Thanks for the comments :D

It's not only very fast, but the image that really matters is also blurry. [link]

I honestly didn't find this at all helpful. The entire time the camera was focused on the jar and not your hands, which were barely on screen the entire time...

This has been very helpful! I just have one question...how come people keep jars filled with origami stars? Does it have any significance?

Good one, I think the tut is really helpful, altho i have a few bottles on my table already, ^^, my mum hates them.

by the way
ok, just trying to help ...
well, yes, it does mean something. I should know, all the packets of origami papers here have them on, wait a min, i`ll go get my packet ...

1 means The Only One
2 means Loving Each Other
3 means I Love You
5 means I Love You To Death (not sure, it`s written in chinese, i`m trying my best to translate it, (^^")
11 means Favourite
66 means Forever Together
99 means Forever (yes, also, altho it has a different meaning in chinese)
101 means Forever in the River of Love
365 means Wish Comes True

ok, personally, I doubt the accuracy of this, but I guess it`s fun to know. (^^).

I guess it is for decorative appeal? I liked the idea of storing my stars somewhere, then I got the idea of giving significant numbers of them as gifts of friendship. Aside from that, it could just be a cultural thing. In any case, glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Thanks for commenting.

Great tutorial, remind me of how to make stars, it was great fun :) I remember there are other variations such as rose or triangular shape item also from those long strip of paper.
